WordPress Firefox spellcheck March 10, 2007

Found this plugin today and thought it was interesting.
My comments on the wordpress wysiwyg editor before shows the problems I was having and this plugin fixes those issues. Essentially what this does is enable the firefox spell checking in the text area – the one feature I really wanted added to the editor.
This plugin should not be necessary for too long.. They’ve incorporated the change into the mainline source, so the next version will have the firefox spell check enabled by default. Hopefully.
That’s very good to know. I’ve just tried it on wordpress.com and it works perfectly – so maybe with wordpress 2.2 I will be able to start using the wysiwyg editor on my main sites.
